For over 25 years now my focus has been on breeding, raising, training top quality paint and quarter horses and coaching their talented riders. In the last 20 years, I have shown and coached over 75 PtHA World Champions. I have trained, shown and coached 4 APHA World show Champions, Top 5 and Top 10 APHA world show horses, and have Congress Champions and Reserves, in APHA and PtHA, also 4 x PHBA world champion! I specialize in starting young horses and turning them into show horses. I have a keen eye for movement and quality, and can assist in the buying and selling of the right horse for the right person. I love working in both western and English events, my talents range from specializing in starting horses, to show horses, to barrel horses! Always a favorite, the longe line ( 3 x APHA world champion in the longe line) Many references available.

Jodie is married to Andrew Distad. They married in 2010 at the farm. They have 2 children, Cole Janssen who is 20 and Devin Distad who is 15. Both boys enjoy helping mom out in the barn and coming to visit the customers. AJ is self employed, owning Plowhorse LLC. Together they have put long hours in as a family to get Broadway Farm up and running, at its full potential.
Some of the services I offer here at the farm
- Training- Specialize in the all around show horse. Western and English. Longe line is a favorite, and Ranch horses. We do trail horses and game horses as well.
- Riding Lessons-I’ve cut out my beginner lessons on lesson horses. I currently offer haul in lessons with your horse, or if your horse is here in training or on board. I love haul ins and helping people either work through training issues or better their own horsemanship.
- Horse Sales- Always a nice selection of horses available from young to old, we probably have what you’re looking for. And if they are for sale here, we stand behind our product.
